Digital graphics from Creative Memories and ScrapGirls.com

I had so much fun creating this 4x6 card! My only issue was choosing the right colors to go with all of the red and white stripes. I ordered regular 4x6 prints from Walgreens at 5 cents each (with coupon) - much cheaper than buying the 4x8 card sets with envelopes!

I've spent the last couple weeks researching how to build websites! I found some free web-building software (Serif WebPlus SE), and then began using my stash of digital scrapbooking stuff to make my own graphics using Photoshop Elements. What fun! This website is for a non-profit care center. See my work in progress at www.linnmanor.org.

For those of you who love to use page templates I thought I would share a few that I have created recently in Photoshop. Have fun!
Here is a completed page using the first template.

Last September I completed the largest photobook I've done thus far. It is 61 pages, and only took me about 2 weeks to complete (that includes sorting and editing 650 photos!). The book was about our 3-day family reunion/vacation, and each member of our family was able to purchase their own copy of the book! This is what is so neat about digital scrapbooking! It's easy to share and easy to do!
I am in the process of making a digital scrapbooking kit centered around a Christmas. My favorite holiday decorations are Poinsettias - especially the pink and white ones. The photos in the layout are from our family Christmas get-together last year (I'm a little behind on scrapping my photos). But with the cooler weather, I have been in the Christmas mood lately.

I created this layout after taking some photos of my little blessings. I tend to scrapbook only the happy moments of life (and only the "good" photos). So this time I wanted to show that life isn't always full of smiles and perfect moments!

I love to read blogs, so I decided it was time to have my very own! My purpose will be to share anything crafty and creative with the world. I'm sure my family will enter many (or most) posts too!
